ALICE will be present at the 22nd biennial conference of The International Society for Ecological Modelling (ISEM), under the theme eco:model:spaces. The conference will bring together scientists from all professions and applications that deal with the use of ecological models and systems ecology.

“With the rapid advancement in modelling of potential and current ecosystem service stocks and flows, there is a growing need for more integrated modelling approaches that address the consequences of multiple changes in drivers, pressures and biodiversity on multiple ecosystem services in space and time. The Ecosystem Services Partnership (ESP) is Worldwide network to enhance the science, policy and practice of ecosystem services for conservation and sustainable development. It aims to enhance communication, coordination and cooperation, and to build a strong network of individuals and organizations. ESP enhances and encourages a diversity of approaches, while reducing unnecessary duplication of effort in the conceptualization and application of ecosystem services.

ESP connects over 3000 ecosystem services scientists, policy makers and practitioners who work together in more than 40 Working Groups and a growing number of National Networks on all continents.
